Sales Representative (California)

Radlink is seeking a talented, experienced medical sales representative to drive growth of an innovative technology in a key market. Qualified applicants should be experienced in originating new business and providing exceptional ongoing support to our existing customer base.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing sales strategies and new product releases to achieve maximum market penetration
- Training and developing a technically competent salesforce in generating leads and closing major sales with hospitals, surgery centers and physicians
- Coordinating with Engineering and Customer Support to meet customer product demonstration and installation needs and ongoing software/hardware support
- Managing and achieving profitability and investment goals within the territory
- Managing the company’s promotional, educational and exhibit activities at key surgeon meetings globally and other activities with partners
Desired Skillsets
- Demonstrated skill in successfully achieving sales targets and operating within budget constraints
- Keen understanding of the process of making major sales to hospitals, government agencies and other large institutional groups. Includes an understanding of the relevant purchasing agents within a hospital organization, presenting to value committees and the C-Suite.
- Ability to become technically proficient in complex technology applications for medical/surgical markets and how to sell these applications to highly trained medical personnel including surgeons
- Strong communications skills verbally and in writing
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to create innovative customer proposals to achieve sales and profit goals in challenging fiscal environments
Education and Experience
- Experience working in the medical device industry, orthopedic sales, imaging equipment or technology
- Four-year college degree in engineering, mathematics, science or similar technically oriented program
- Proficient in use/set-up of computer systems, PACS or other hospital networks
